Some guidelines for posture...
Posture: Knees not locked, Hips in Line, Shoulders Up-Back-Down, (Tucking the tailbone slightly)
Feet: 1st position, 90 degree angle between feet, heels together.
Keep chest lifted off the hips: Have members take a deep breath and keep the ribcage in place while exhaling.
Hands: Left hand fist, right hand over left fist, should be at nose level, thumb and a fist away from your face
Arms: “Triangle of Power”- at 90 degree angle between elbows.
Straight line from middle knuckle to elbow, through the wrist
Chin: Slightly above parallel to the ground (to find this, make an L with your thumb and pointer finger and put your thumb on your collarbone and your pointer finger under your chin)
Eyes: Laser-forward with pride
